With trending and innovative technological devices being created on a monthly basis, you'd have to be breathing and eating technology to catch up with all of the latest gadgets and toys.
Today, we'll look over which gadgets are going to hit big in the near future. Some have already hit the market and maybe even your friends have them already. Some gadgets are probably not even released yet, but they will be soon. Let's take a look at a few devices that have changed how we communicated.

Smart Phones have pretty much changeed how we communicate. There's a lot of things that you can do with one. Here's a small list of what you can do on your smart phone.
- Browse Websites
- Check up on social networking sites
- Check, compare and read reviews on a certain item
- Use it as a GPS
- Listen to music
- Use it as a device to control several other devices.
Just some of the many many ways to use your smart phone. Some of these smart phones can will even let you video chat.
According to IDC (International Data Corporation), The worldwide smartphone market is forecast to grow 55% year over year in 2011 as a growing number of users turn in their feature phones for more advanced devices. According to the International Data Corporation Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, vendors will ship a total of 472 million smartphones in 2011 compared to roughly 305 million units shipped in 2010. That figure will nearly double to 982 million by the end of 2015.
The fast-growing smartphone market, which will grow more than four times the rate of the overall mobile phone market this year, is being fuelled by falling average selling prices, increased phone functionality, and lower-cost data plans among other factors, which make the devices more accessible to a wider range of users.
"The smartphone floodgates are open wide," said Kevin Restivo, senior research analyst with IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker. "Mobile phone users around the world are turning in their 'talk-and-text' devices for smartphones as these devices allow users to perform daily tasks like shopping and banking from anywhere. The growth trend is particularly pronounced in emerging markets where adoption is still in its early days. As a result, the growth in regions such as Asia/Pacific and Latin America, will be dramatic over the coming years."
With Smart Phones paving the way to better communication, Tablets have made an astounding hit for those who want an extremely portable "laptop". A tablet personal computer or 'tablet PC' is a tablet-sized computer that also has the key features of a full-size personal computer. A tablet PC is basically a small laptop, equipped with a rotatable touchscreen and running a standard PC operating system like Windows or Linux. It doesn't perform as fast as other PC and laptops but it's much more portable.
According to data from International Data Corporation (IDC), more users will access the internet through mobile devices than through PCs or other wireline devices by 2015. Smartphones are outselling the simple cell phone and tablet sales are exploding, as are the development of them.
The new study says that internet access through PCs will first stagnate and then slowly decline over the next few years. Here are a few interesting pieces of information the New Media Market Model found:
- Worldwide, the total number of Internet user will grow from 2 billion in 2010 to 2.7 billion in 2015, when 40% of the world’s population will have access to its vast resources.
- Global B2C ecommerce spending will grow from $708 billion in 2010 to $1,285 billion in 2015 at a CAGR of 12.7%.
-Worldwide online advertising will increase from $70 billion in 2010 to $138 billion in 2015, with its share of total advertising across all media growing from 11.9% to 17.8%.
